• BANK GUARANTEES WILL BE PROVIDED FORTY EIGHT HOURS AFTER THE INDUCTION OF THE TRUCKS.
• Sill-Gatty Trading Inc HAS MANAGED TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT PERIOD FROM FIVE YEARS TO EIGHT YEARS AS THE MANAGING CONTRACTOR HAS BEEN APPOINTED BY THE MINES TO RUN EIGHT YEARS. THE TRANSPORTER IS WELCOME TO SIGN FOR EIGHT YEARS INSTEAD OF THE STANDARD FIVE YEAR CONTRACT IF HE SO WISHES.

THE FOLLOWING COSTS WILL BE CARRIED FOR THE TRANSPORT:

• PAYMENT OF THE DRIVERS- THE TRANSPORTER WILL PROVIDE THE NUMERATION LIST OF DRIVERS FURTHERMORE THE TRANSPORTER WILL PROVIDE DRIVERS OF HIS CHOISE TO ENSURE THAT IT IS ONLY THE BEST DRIVERS THAT WILL DRIVE HIS TRUCKS.

• ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
• SERVICE AND MAINTANANCE OF THE TRUCKS, THE SERVICE/MAINTANANCE MANAGER OF THE PROJECT WILL CO-ORDINATE THE MAINTANANCE OF THE TRUCKS WITH THE MAINTANANCE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE BRANDS/MANUFACTURES, E.G. MAN, MERCEDES, TOYOTA ETC.
• TOLL GATES AND WEIGH BRIDGE COSTS
• REPLACEMENT AND MAINTANANCE OF TYRES WILL BE FULLY PAID BY THE PROJECT
• THE POJECT WILL MANAGE THE TRUCKS AND THE DRIVERS DIRECTLY AND FULLY FOR THE PROJECT ACCOUNT, THE TRANSPORTER HOWEVER, WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXERCISE AN OVERSIGHT ROLE IF HE SO WISHES

THE TRANSPORTER WILL INVOICE THE PROJECT FOR THE HUNDRED AND TEN THOUSAND RAND DIRECT, SO THAT THE MONEY CAN BE TRANSFERRED DIRECT INTO HIS BANK ACCOUNT.

THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE THAT A TRUCK WILL BE USED OVER 24 HOURS IS ABOUT EIGHT HUNDRED (800) KM ROUND TRIP. THE PLANNING AND SCHEDULING WILL BE MADE FOR THE HUNDRED AND FORTY TRUCKS, AND THE EXPECTATION IS THAT THE KM AVARAGE THAT EACH TRUCK COVERS PER 4 HOURS WILL ACTUALLY BE FAR LESS THAN THE PROJECT MILEAGE.

AT THIS STAGE, Sill-Gatty Trading Inc IS NEGOTIATING THAT THE PROJECTS CARRY THE GIT COST, SHOULD THE NEGOTIATIONS BE UNSUCCESSFUL, THE GIT SHOULD NOT BE A DEAL BREAKER FOR THE TRANSPORTER. THE MINES ARE UNDER PRESURE TO FULIL THEIR OBLIGATIONS WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS AND EXPECT YOU TO RESPOND SPEEDILY. PARDON ME FOR THE PRESSURE; I WAS REQUESTED TO CONSIDER YOU AT THIS ADVANCED STAGE.

IF THE TRANSPORTER IS INTRESTED, HE MUST SEND A SPREADSHEET ASAP SO THAT I CAN SECURE HIS POSITION IN THE PROJECT. UPON THE RECEIPT OF THE SPREADSHEET I CAN MEET WITH THE TRANSPORTER IN MIDRAND TO GIVE THE TRANSPORTER AN OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY THE CONTRACT. SHOULD A CONSENSUS BE REACHED TOMORROW, WE WILL SIGN THE CONTRACT IMMEDIATELY. THE TRUCKS WILL NEED TO BE AT THE MINES FOR INDUCTION ASAP. THE MINES WILL CARRY THE COST OF THE INDUCTION.

THE SPECS OF THE TRUCKS ARE AS FOLLOWS;

• THE TRUCK MUST HAVE A TRACKER; THIS TRACKER WILL BE MONITORED FROM THE PROJECT CONTROL ROOM ON A 24 HOUR BASIS, PRIMARILY FOR THE TRUCKS AND THE DRIVER SECURITY PURPOSE.
• REVOLVING LIGHT FOR THE TRUCKS ACCESS INTO THE MINES
• 9KG FIRE EXTINGUISHER
• THREE TRIANGLES
• TURPOLINE
• YELLOW REFLECTIVE TAPE
